Precise 50cm Stainless Steel Small Disc Granulator

Release time:September 8, 2025

In fertilizer R&D labs, “small batches, high precision, and easy temperature control” are key requirements. As a Chinese foreign trade company specializing in fertilizer equipment, our 50cm diameter stainless steel small disc granulator, with its “mini size and precise performance,” has become a valuable tool for formulation development in fertilizer labs worldwide. Suitable for small-batch granulation experiments for various fertilizer types, including organic, compound, and biological fertilizers, it has served over 20 institutions, including the European Agricultural Research Institute and the Southeast Asian Fertilizer Enterprise R&D Center, helping to quickly verify formulation feasibility.

Constructed entirely of 304 stainless steel, the disc measures only 50cm in diameter (40cm in height), occupying less than 1㎡ of floor space. It can be easily integrated into a lab bench or fume hood, eliminating the need for additional R&D space. Equipped with a food-grade, wear-resistant rubber lining, it not only resists corrosion from experimental materials containing humic acid and chemical salts, but also prevents granules from clumping, ensuring the purity and purity of laboratory samples, meeting the accuracy requirements of subsequent ingredient testing. During operation, only 5-20kg of mixed raw materials (water content 25%-40%) need to be fed in. Through the adjustable speed of 20-35r/min, it can be rolled into uniform particles with a diameter of 2-5mm in 3-5 minutes. The ball formation rate is stable at above 82%, and the single batch processing capacity is 0.05-0.2 tons. It perfectly adapts to the laboratory’s “small batch, multiple batch” formula testing needs. One R&D staff member can complete the entire process of feeding, granulation, and sampling.

The equipment has been specifically optimized to address laboratory R&D pain points: the disc inclination angle (38°-50°) can be precisely adjusted with a manual knob, allowing optimal granulation parameters to be matched to different raw materials (e.g., organic fertilizer requires a 45° angle, while compound fertilizer requires a 40° angle), facilitating comparison of granulation results across different formulations. A built-in micro-digital temperature control module monitors the disc surface temperature in real time (with an accuracy of ±1°C), preventing temperature fluctuations from affecting experimental data. A removable receiving tray allows for convenient sampling without residual material, reducing the risk of cross-contamination between different formulations and ensuring the reliability of experimental results.

Compliance and durability meet laboratory standards: ensuring that laboratory samples are free of heavy metal contamination and meeting the compliance requirements of international testing agencies. The motor, with an IP55 protection rating, operates stably in either a constant temperature and humidity laboratory environment or in a ventilated, dry environment, with a service life exceeding five years. Operating noise is ≤70 decibels, meeting laboratory noise control standards and not disrupting surrounding R&D work.

Currently, this equipment has helped a German agricultural laboratory complete 12 biofertilizer formula tests, quickly identifying two formulas with high pelletizing rates. A Malaysian fertilizer company also used it to verify the trace element ratios in compound fertilizers, shortening their new product development cycle by 30%. Our 50cm stainless steel disc granulator, with its precise performance, accelerates laboratory formula development, laying a solid foundation for subsequent large-scale production. In the future, we will also offer services such as voltage customization (110V/220V) and the installation of particle size detection interfaces to further meet the R&D needs of different laboratories.
