一. Overview of the production line

The potash fertilizer and ammonia fertilizer extrusion granulation production line is a modern production system specially used to process potash fertilizer and ammonia fertilizer raw materials into granular fertilizers. It integrates advanced mechanical manufacturing technology, automatic control technology and chemical process, and can produce high-quality granular fertilizers efficiently, accurately and environmentally friendly.

二. Main components

1. Raw material pretreatment system

Raw material conveying equipment: including belt conveyors, bucket elevators, etc., used to transport potash fertilizer and ammonia fertilizer raw materials from the storage area to the pretreatment area to ensure a stable supply of raw materials. The conveying speed of these equipment can be adjusted according to production needs.
Crushing equipment: For blocky or larger granular raw materials, they need to be crushed into suitable particle sizes by a crusher. This helps the subsequent mixing and extrusion process so that the raw materials can be combined more evenly.

2. Batching system

Batching silos: There are multiple batching silos to store potash fertilizer, ammonia fertilizer and other trace elements or additives that may be added. Each batching silo is equipped with a high-precision metering device, such as an electronic scale or a screw feeder.
Automatic batching controller: The discharge amount of each batching bin is controlled by a computer program, and the ingredients are accurately batched according to the preset fertilizer formula. This ensures that the ratio of potassium fertilizer and ammonia fertilizer in each batch of fertilizer is accurate, and also ensures the reasonable addition of other nutrients.

3. Mixing equipment

Horizontal ribbon mixer or double-shaft paddle mixer: The prepared raw materials are fully mixed in the mixer. The internal structure design of the mixer can make the material reach a highly uniform state in a short time, avoiding the situation where the local nutrients are too high or too low.

4. Extrusion granulation system

Roller extrusion granulator: This is one of the core equipment of the production line. The uniformly mixed raw materials enter the extrusion granulator, and under the push of the roller shaft, the materials are forced to pass through the die hole with a specific shape and size. The pressure of the extruder can be adjusted according to the characteristics of the raw materials and the hardness of the required particles.
Granulation mold: The aperture and shape of the mold determine the size and appearance of the granular fertilizer. Common molds include round, oval and other shapes to meet the needs of different users.

5. Post-processing system

Drying equipment: The pellets just extruded contain a certain amount of moisture and need to be dried by drying equipment. Hot air drying is usually used to reduce the moisture in the pellets to a suitable level, making the fertilizer easy to store and transport.
Cooling equipment: The temperature of the pellets after drying is high, and the cooling equipment is used to quickly reduce the temperature and restore it to normal temperature. This helps to maintain the stability and activity of the fertilizer.
Screening equipment: It is used to screen out pellets that do not meet the specifications, such as pellets that are too large or too small. Qualified pellets are transported to the finished product packaging area, and unqualified pellets are returned for reprocessing.

三. Production process

The raw materials first enter the pretreatment system through the conveying equipment, and then reach the batching system after crushing.
In the batching system, the ingredients are accurately batched according to the set formula, and then the prepared raw materials are sent to the mixing equipment for full mixing.
The mixed raw materials enter the extrusion granulation system and are extruded into pellets through a screw extruder and a die.
After the pellets are dried, cooled and screened, qualified products are packaged and unqualified products are returned for reprocessing.
