After three months of installation and commissioning, the organic fertilizer drum granulation production line purchased by Saudi customers from our factory last year completed trial operation last month, and all indicators met expectations. This production line will be used to treat local farm manure and agricultural waste, with an annual output of 30,000 tons of organic fertilizer, providing a “Chinese solution” for organic fertilizer production in the Middle East.

The production line is customized for Saudi Arabia’s arid climate and raw material characteristics. The drum granulator adopts a double-layer insulation design and can adapt to high temperature environments above 45°C; the dust recovery system equipped can effectively deal with the material dust problem caused by dry air, and the dust emission concentration is controlled below 8mg/m³, which meets Saudi Arabia’s environmental protection standards. During the trial operation, the production line ran stably for 72 consecutive hours, producing 2 tons of granular organic fertilizer per hour, with a molding rate of 96% and a granule hardness of 7-9N, meeting the requirements of long-distance transportation.

The fertilizer quality that customers are most concerned about has been verified. According to the test results of Saudi Arabian agricultural testing institutions, the organic fertilizer produced by the production line has an organic matter content of 45%, a total nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium nutrient content of 12%, and a moisture content of ≤10%, which fully meets the local organic agricultural planting standards. These organic fertilizers will be used in the surrounding date palm plantations. The trial application data shows that the growth of new shoots of date palm seedlings has increased by 20% compared with the use of ordinary chemical fertilizers.

“From equipment delivery to installation and commissioning, the professionalism of the Chinese team is impressive.” The customer project leader said that we sent engineers twice, who overcame language and cultural differences, completed the installation 15 days ahead of schedule, and conducted multiple trainings for local operators. During the trial operation, the remote monitoring system transmitted production data in real time, and Chinese technicians solved all problems through cloud guidance.

The successful operation of this production line has realized the resource utilization of Saudi manure and agricultural waste, and can reduce methane emissions by about 1,200 tons per year.
